FOG Control Program
The purpose of the FOG Control Program is to prevent fats, oils and grease (FOG) from entering the Mammoth Community Water District’s sewer system through the establishment of regulations for the discharge of FOG and other insoluble waste from food service establishments. The FOG Control Program requires all food service establishments utilizing Mammoth Community Water District’s sewer collection system to obtain a FOG Discharge Permit. For questions, please contact 760-934-2596 ext. 232.
The drain is not a trash can. It is in your best interest to keep FOG out of your pipes, clogs and backups can be very costly. Along with our other conservation giveaways, we have sink screens and dish squeegees available for free at the District, for use at your home or business.
